Raju Gorania – Solicitor

One of the founders of Highcross Law Solicitors and has been with us since 2009,  first as a partner and then as a director, when the practice incorporated. Raju is responsible for the practice’s financial compliance and management as well as human resources. He is the head of department for property,  family law and commercial areas of work within the practice.

Raju has extensive experience in handling a broad range of work within these areas and has acted for a diverse range of clients from all walks of life from all over the country as well as abroad. In addition to his general commercial and business expertise, he has gained experience in charity law and regularly consults on these areas, particularly for those who are setting up new businesses and charities.

Throughout his career, he has been trusted by his clients for his holistic and clear approach to provision of legal services. He devotes his time with his family and volunteering in activities organised by his charity. He enjoys reading, mentoring, watching football and rugby.

Vishal Mehta – Solicitor

One of the founding partners of ‘Highcross Law’ and has been with the firm since its inception. He is the director of the practice and oversees the strategic management and business development operations of the practice. In addition to being a practicing solicitor in England and Wales, he is dual qualified and is authorised to practice in Indian jurisdiction, he is, therefore, able to provide legal advice and assistance in relation to legal matters in India.

Vishal heads the ‘Criminal Law and Immigration Law departments’ and specialises in all aspects of ‘Criminal Law’ and very serious crime cases and has handled complex multi-defendant fraud cases encompassing a multi jurisdictional criminal investigation and prosecution.

Continually advises individuals in relation to their immigration matters and is well versed in Judicial Review actions and Human Rights Act representations and also provides business/corporate immigration advice to businesses.

Vishal has amassed an international following in the Middle East, UAE in particular and the Indian sub continent. He has advised numerous international businesses on corporate immigration and other related matters.

In his spare time Vishal loves hiking and is a devout Manchester United fan.
